Stacey Ford

Treatment Coordinator

Having moved to North Yorkshire after graduating from Bournemouth University in 2015, I began a career in Pharmacy where my passion of patient centred care began. I met my husband whilst living in North Yorkshire and would frequently visit family in St Austell and the surrounding areas. In 2019 we decided to finally move down to Cornwall and settle down.
The big move was also perfect for the change in career; I had always enjoyed learning about dentistry during my degree in Biological Anthropology and its implications into the analysis of human life, past and present and so was the perfect opportunity to combine my love of biological sciences, pharmacy science and dentistry. I started at Lostwithiel in February 2020 as a trainee dental nurse and in the short time I have been here, I have learnt so much and am excited to continue the development of my dental knowledge and to provide the best possible patient care.

Miklos Poratunszky

GDC: 258460

Miklos qualified in Hungary from Semmelweis University Budapest in 2010 and started his career in private implant and TMJ practice where he worked for 7 years.
To deepen his knowledge and learn more about comprehensive and patient centred approach he finished a postgraduate specialist training as Conservative dentist and Prosthodontist and entered a Hungarian specialist register in 2017.
He is a great believer of minimal invasive dentistry, where highly aesthetic and functional smiles could be created with minimal amount of intervention. As it could be achieved only if the teeth are in a proper position and in a right angle, he has taken courses from all around the world in aesthetic teeth straightening and worked with systems such as Invisalign, Six Month Smiles, Fast Braces, Inman Aligners. Working with this systems he soon realized how easily achievable, small changes in smile could boost ones self-esteem and confidence, ability to socialize, smile on pictures, especially if done before special occasions such as weddings.
To be able to replace missing teeth and provide fixed and aesthetic solutions, restore the chewing function for those who would like to smile and enjoy food again without wearing dentures or without sacrificing healthy tooth material needed to fit a bridge, he certified as an implantologist from Cambridge in 2019. He decided to continue his studies in same academy and now he is doing a Postgraduate Diploma degree in implantology.
When not working you can find him jogging, riding his bike or doing water sports in summer and skiing in winter. Miklos is a great believer of an active and healthy lifestyle.
